Ram Raja Mandir
Orchha is home to the only temple in all of India where Lord Ram is worshipped as a King — with full royal honours, police salutes, and a state flag.
The Ram Raja Temple was originally a palace of Queen Ganeshkuwari in the 16th century. When Lord Ram's idol was brought to the temple — He refused to move. And so He was made the ruler of Orchha, a throne He holds to this day.
